Treatment by different medicines:

1. Bael fruit: Prepare a decoction by boiling equal quantity of pulp of bael fruit, dry ginger, coriander’s fruit, root of nut grass, and fruit of Indian valerian rhizome. Take 14 ml to 28 ml this decoction as a dose.

2. Cissampelos pareira (Patha): Prepare a decoction by boiling equal quantity of cissampelos pareira (patha), chireta, panchang of justicia procumbens (pitpapra), the root of nut grass, dry ginger, zingber, holarrhena antidysentrica wall (indrayav) and the stem of tinospora. Take this decoction in the quantity of 14 ml to 28 ml twice a day.

3. Dry ginger: Prepare a decoction by boiling equal quantity of dry ginger, root of Indian atees, stem of tinospora, chireta and kurchi (Kutaj). It is useful to give the patient in the quantity of 14 ml to 28 ml twice a day.

4. Cuscus (Khas): Prepare a decoction by boiling equal quantity of the root of cuscus (a variety of grass that gives a pleasant fragrance), country mallow, nut grass, dry ginger, woodfordia floribunda Salish (dhay ke phool), the stem of lodh, the pulp of wood-apple etc. Take this decoction in the quantity of 14 ml to 28 ml twice a day.

5. Greater galangal: If the sufferer takes the bark of kurchi and the powder of oval leaved rose way, its use gets rid of diarrhoea caused by fever.
